Until the 11th Feburary 2018, you want to do yourself a favour and get thee to GOMA to experience Yayoi Kusama's 'Life is the Heart of a Rainbow' exhibition. It will obliterate your senses.
Kusama is a Japanese artist and international phenomenon. She's also my kind of weirdo and I'm slightly obsessed.
Her highly patterned work has an obvious thread of symbols but the diversity of paintings, sculptures and the super popular interactive installation pieces makes for such an entertaining experience where you really do get to step inside her beautiful mind for a day.
I have never seen an exhibition so packed with people of all ages and so immersed in freely enjoying every dizzying dot, line, shape and illusion, phones firmly in hand and Boomerang app in overdrive.
Enjoy, and tell me what you think! x
