Pecan and blonde shades are very popular flooring choices at the moment and are also becoming more popular when it comes to interior design overall. These colours work very well with wood such as bamboo and even hard woods, and can give your home a much more solid feel underfoot and brighter look. If you want to give your home a makeover for the summer and make the rooms seem bigger, then blonde and pecan are certainly winning options.
PATTERNED FLOORING TILES
It doesn’t matter whether it is a geometric pattern, chevron or floral motif - anything goes in pattern fashions right now (hello Gucci) and it is very interesting to see how it influences decoration. If you're looking to inject your home with life and colour and interest, patterned floor tiles are definitely one cool way to do it. You could opt for a classic chess-board layout with black and white, solid colours laid in clever patterns, or really define a timeline with paisley or fleur de lis.
